This is nothing like I thought it would be.I will not be one clicking this authors books no more. I should have downloaded free with Kindle Unlimited instead of one clicking.
I am a goner for dark romance. I absolutely love contemporary romance, dark romance.
I like the hotness. When I escape in a book, I want a good book.
This is a lot of fighting and killing, and not enough romance.
I seriously thought it would be romance.
Nero kills kids, innocent woman. He does not deserve to be a father.
Nero is not protective, possessive, he lets Una get hurt and does not help her. He is not an alpha male that romance lovers crave.
I am getting a refund. I thought from the blurb, and the reviews It would of been what romance lovers want,need and crave what we devour in a book.
It is not. I am refunding this series. I will not be reading it.
It is just horrible. It is not romance I can tell you that.

Great read! I loved these characters. The store is full of romance and action. I was worried for a little bit how things would turn out. I would like to read about Anna and Raphael’s story. Anyway great read.
JP Lovell is a new author to me & I’m so glad I found her. I fell in love with both Una & Nero & of course Tommy & George. The story keeps moving and other than short breaks I read straight through. Lastly who’s to say it’s wrong if it’s what works for them.
I loved this story. I love that he not once, wanted her to be less than she is. I love that he had to trust her as much as she had to trust him. I wanted more ending! I know I am greedy like that. Sadly I found this book by reading Hate Me first so now I must wait for the sequel to that.
I LOVE this series. Revenge is best served up HOT! Una and Nero are HOT together. Dante is Una's driving force, even having all agreed of humanity out of her again, Dante and Nero are what brings her back. Enjoy,the wild and twisted take of a love of a different kind but, no less love.
I was disappointed in Nero's actions and it hurt my enjoyment of the story. Nero did things that made me think less of him. Any respect and liking I had for him disappeared in this story. Spoilers marked below.

In an attempt to get Una back Nero slaughtered women and children without remorse. A lot of them. What is worse is that they were innocent. They did nothing wrong and while Nero acknowledged it he felt no guilt over it.
Nero did not deserve to get to be a father after he took so many sons and daughters lives and yet by the end of the story he got to be one.
The other thing that I disliked is that Nero let Una go. Not only did he not try to rescue her anymore after he got his son when she came back to see him and her child he left her go back to a monster. He knew that she was being continuously tortured but let it happen for 6 months until she found a way save everyone. So not alpha behavior and is inconsistent with how he acted in the first book in the series and this one until he stopped trying to rescue her.

The only reason that story got two stars instead of one is because there was no indication that he cheated on her while they were apart. Needless to say that I will not be reading the third book as I don't care about the characters anymore because of Nero's actions.
If you like dark, hot , intensely hot stories, then grab on because this is the book for you. You should read them in order so you won't miss a thing as the plot thickens. They say everyone has a soul mate , even monsters. LP has a special way of taking two people who get pleasure from blood, killing , and hurting each become their very own foreplay. At times they made me laugh and I questioned myself for laughing at these two blood lusting lovers as they snark at each other. Would I read this again? In a New York minute😍
Una and Nero are twisted and so perfect. I love the anti heir who will burn the entire world to the ground for someone they love and Nero does all of that and more. I cringed and had to step away a few times because it gets really intense, but it's so worth coming back to and finding out if they get their happy ending. Which I'm so glad they did!!!! Every moment I was waiting for a brutal twist that would just end with me grabbing tissues and taking a book break for awhile. I hate those nasty surprises! But I assure you the end is happy and satisfying even if the journey throughout is twisted. The writing is so beautiful and I was highlighting my heart out. I'm so happy I found these characters. Lovell is on my just buy list now.
